75th Independence Day was celebrated at the National War Memorial, Southern Command Pune.
In a solemn ceremony held at the National War Memorial, Pune on 15 Aug 2021, Brigadier RR Kamath, Station Commander Pune paid rich tributes to the gallant warriors of the Indian Army who made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty defending the territorial integrity of the nation. The celebrations this year were low key due to the on ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Selected military personnel from the Pune Station attended the wreath laying ceremony.
