Kargil, Drass, and Siachen are some regions where not just fighting a war but even living a normal life is difficult. The lack of oxygen at high altitudes, duties with limited resources, and temperatures much lower than normal create challenging conditions where winning a war is possible only for Indian soldiers in all over the world.

Retired Major General Anil Bam (Vishisht Seva Medal) took the audience through the nostalgia of the Kargil Victory. He shared many memories and valuable insights from his tenure at the Kargil Sector. Shri Bam was the chief guest at the concluding session of the ‘Kargil Vijay Diwas – Silver Jubilee’ multimedia photo exhibition organized by the Central Bureau of Communication in collaboration with V.M.V. Commerce, J.M.T. Arts, and J.J.P. Science Colleges in Wardhman Nagar. Shri Bam advised the students not to complain about what the nation has done for them; instead, they should introspect on what they have done for the country. The country always does its best for its citizens.

The concluding session was presided over by Mr. Sanjaybhai Thaker, General Secretary of the Nagpur Gujarati Mandal.  Saurabh Khekde, Field Publicity Officer of the Central Bureau of Communication, Field Office Nagpur; Dr. Abhay Mudgal, Incharge Principal of V.M.V.
