The 56th Inter Services Cross Country Championship 2025 was conducted at INS Shivaji on 12 October 2025 in an exemplary manner.
A total of 24 participants (06 in each team) from four teams – Army Red, Army Green, Indian Navy and Indian Air Force – participated in the championship. The athletes ran a distance of 10 kilometres, competing for the coveted Services Championship Trophy.
In the individual category, the 1st and 2nd positions were secured by the Indian Navy:
- 1st Position – Prakash Deshmukh, PO (GW) – 28 min 49 sec
- 2nd Position – Rohit Verma, POLOG (MAT) – 28 min 51 sec
- The 3rd position was taken by Army Red’s Ankit Naik, who completed the race in 28 min 53 sec.
In the team championship, Indian Army Red and Indian Navy were tied with 25 points each. In a nail-biting tie breaker, Army Red emerged as the winner of the Inter Services Cross Country Championship 2025.
The overall team points are as follows:
- Army Red – 25
- Indian Navy – 25
- Army Green – 33
- Air Force – 75
Army Green secured the 3rd position, while the Indian Air Force finished 4th.
