Vishwambar Kolekar created history at State Olympic Games when he became the first athlete from Karnataka to break the 1:50 barrier in the men’s 800m.
Kolekar clocked 1:47.5s, shattering Damodara Gowda’s State record of 1:50.4 set in 1986.
