Dr. Ashutosh Biswas, Professor of Medicine in All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi has been conferred with the honorary fellowship of Bangladesh college of Physicians and Surgeons in recognition of his contribution towards growth and improvement of the medical education and system in Bangladesh.
The fellowship was presented to Dr. Biswas by the Prime Minister of Bangladesh Ms. Sheikh Hasina Wazed in Dhaka.
As part of a collaborative exchange programme between India and Bangladesh Dr. Biswas was nominated by the Govt of India to support Govt of Bangladesh in popularising and improving the standard of medical education and medical system in that country.
