The 40-member Central Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) elected Nilesh Shivji Vikamsey as new President.
It also elected Naveen Gupta as Vice-President for the year 2017-18.
Vikamsey has been a member of the CA Institute since 1985.
Prior to this elevation, Vikamsey was the Vice President of the CA institute in 2016-17.
He has been serving as ICAI Council member since 2010.
