Based on the results of the written examination held by the Union Public Service Commission in May, 2016 followed by interviews for Personality Test in August, 2016, the following are the lists, in order of merit, of the candidates who have been recommended for appointment to the Group ‘A’ posts of Geologists, Geophysicist and Chemists in the Geological Survey of India; and Jr. Hydrogeologists (Scientist B), Group ‘A’ in the Central Ground Water Board.
