Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, June 27, 2025– The Office of the Controller of Communication Accounts (CCA), Maharashtra & Goa, conducted its Quarterly Pension Adalat and Telecom Outreach Programme on June 27, 2025, at the CCA Regional Office in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar.
The Pension Adalat, chaired by Controller of Communication Accounts, Maharashtra & Goa, Dr. Satish Chandra Jha, and guided by Deputy CCA, Maharashtra & Goa, Dr. Tejas Ramakant Mahire, addressed 38 pension-related grievances from retired employees and family pensioners of the Department of Telecommunications and BSNL in the Maharashtra & Goa Circle. All grievances were resolved during the session, with prior intimation of the hearing schedule communicated to stakeholders via SMS, email, or post. Dr. Jha emphasized the importance of timely and effective resolution of pension grievances to ensure ease and dignity for pensioners.
The afternoon session featured a Telecom Outreach Programme, engaging 48 licensees from Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar and nearby Secondary Switching Areas (SSAs). The programme covered timely payment of license fees, submission of quarterly and annual audited financial documents, renewal of bank guarantees, and functionalities of the Revenue Management Software (SARAS).
Dr. Jha highlighted the critical role of local ISP operators in boosting the Digital India mission and democratising internet access across rural and semi-urban areas, urging licensees to comply with regulatory obligations.
The CCA Maharashtra & Goa remains committed to ensuring transparency, efficiency, and proactive engagement with stakeholders in both pension and telecom-related matters.
