A Special Campaign 3.0 was organised by the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment as per the instructions received from the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG) for disposal of pending matters from 2nd October, 2023 to 31st October, 2023.
The Department of Social Justice and Empowerment undertook Special Campaign 3.0 for Disposal of Pending Matters (SCDPM) in its filed units in two phases –Preparatory Phase from 15.09.2023 to 30.09.2023 and implementing phase from 02.10.2023 to 31.10.2023 focusing on the following points: –
- Minimising pendency: Public Grievances Disposal of CPGRAMs, IMC: EFC/SFC/Cabinet Note, State Government References, Parliament Assurances etc;
- Digitalisation: 100% e-Office implementation, Digitisation of 100% physical files and receipts (Migration of physical files into e-office);
- Efficient Management of Office Space: Scrapping of Unused files/Old papers/File covers/File boards /Unserviceable items like Computers/Printer/ Furniture etc;
- Environment friendly practices: 100% Go Green (Paperless working + No “one-time plastic use + Paperless working etc), Through Trash get Cash etc;
- Cleanliness drive: 03 hours in a week by each Officer/Officials during the campaign;
- Institutionalising Swachhata in the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment.
In addition to all the Divisions of Department of Social Justice and Empowerment in Shastri Bhawan New Delhi, Special Campaign 3.0 was organised in Doctor Ambedkar International Centre (DAIC),New Delhi, National Institute of Social Defence (NISD), New Delhi, Dr. Ambedkar Foundation (DAF), New Delhi, National Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation (NSFDC), Delhi, National Safai Karamcharis Finance & Development Corporation (NSKFDC), New Delhi, National Backward Classes Finance & Development Corporation, New Delhi, NCSC, Lok Nayak Bhawan, New Delhi, NCBC, Bhikaji Cama Place, New Delhi and NCSK, Lok Nayak Bhawan, New Delhi.
Following were the major outcomes of the Campaign: –
- 817 Public Grievances have been redressed.
- 50 MP references were redressed.
- 2500 files reviewed and 2445 files were weeded out.
- Furniture, electrical appliances and computer were scrapped and earned revenue of Rs 1,12,000/-.
- 1800 Sq feet Space was made free by removing scrapable items and renovation work carried out in the offices.
- Environment friendly practices like 100% Go Green (Paperless working + No “one-time plastic use), regular cleanliness activities and implementation of 100% e-office have been adopted and focussed to institutionalise the practices in the Department.
All officials were involved in Special Campaign 3.0. Pre and post event photographs were taken and uploaded on the special DARPG Portal to appreciate the progress made in this regard.
