Freedom fighters contribution is an inspiration for youth – Union Minister of State for Panchayati Raj Kapil Patil

Union Minister of State for Panchayati Raj Shri Kapil Patil today said that the historic National Institute of Naturopathy in Pune, which was sanctified by the residence of Mahatma Gandhi, will create a healthy generation that will make the nation stronger. He said that the contribution of the freedom fighters will be an inspiration to the young generation.

To commemorate 75 years of India’s Independence, a national flag hoisting and felicitation of freedom fighters were held today at the National Institute of Naturopathy located in the Bapu Sadan building in Pune. The flag was hoisted in the institution premises by Shri Kapil Patil, in the presence of Vijaykumar Behra, Financial Adviser of Panchayat Raj Ministry, Prof. (Dr.) K. Satya Lakshmi, Director of the institute and other dignitaries. Shri Patil also garlanded the Statue of Mahatma Gandhi in the institute premises.

He said that naturopathy was Gandhiji’s concept and Prime Minister Narendra Modi had spread it throughout the world through Yoga Day. He underlined the special importance of celebrating this day, especially in Bapu Bhavan. He told about the vision of the Prime Minister and the importance of the Har Ghar Tiranga program. Shri Patil appealed to everyone to hoist the National flag at their homes on 15th August.
