Tata-DAV Public School at Mithapur in Gujarat has achieved the Guinness world record for the “Largest Tree Hug” programme.
The initiative saw the active participation of 1,316 school students and staff to make it a success.
The objective of this initiative was to spread the message of conservation of natural resources and the need to nurture the environment.
The world title of the “Largest Tree Hug” was earlier with Korea but, with this successful attempt of TCL-DAV Public School, it is now in India’s account.
More than 1,450 people gathered around to witness the event and encourage the participants.
