Inclusion in and exclusion from the Second Schedule to the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934 – Regional Rural Banks (RRBs)


The names of the following three Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) have been included in the Second Schedule to the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934 vide Notification DoR.LIC.No.S7702/16.13.300/2025-26 dated January 12, 2026 and published in the Gazette of India (Part III – Section 4) dated February 03, 2026:

2. Further, the names of the following seven erstwhile RRBs have been excluded from the Second Schedule to the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934 vide Notification DoR.LIC.No.S7703/16.13.300/2025-26 dated January 12, 2026 and published in the Gazette of India (Part III – Section 4) dated February 03, 2026:
