India with 5-4 victory in their final game beat Bangladesh to lift the U-18 Men’s Asia Cup in Dhaka.
Hardik Singh was named the Man of the Match, while Pankaj Kumar Rajak was named the Best Goalkeeper of the tournament.
India Under-18 won the Asia Cup Hockey tournament with 20 seconds left on the clock.
Both teams started slowly in the first quarter of the game and it was Bangladesh who took the lead. India levelled the score just before the half-time break.
Bangladesh then took a 2-1 lead but India struck back in quick succession, scoring twice in as many minutes to take a 3-2 lead.
Bangladesh levelled scores twice to take the game to 4-all. India netted the winning shot in the last few seconds to seal the game.
