Pune Division, Central Railway, has organized the Inter-Departmental Cricket Tournament 2025 at Tadiwala Road Sports Ground, promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and a spirit of camaraderie among railway employees.
The tournament was inaugurated today by Divisional Railway Manager Shri Rajesh Kumar Verma, marking the beginning of an exciting six-day cricketing event.
A total of 28 matches will be played in the tournament, featuring teams from 15 departments of Pune Division. The opening match saw an intense face-off between the Electrical Department and the Stores Department.
The semi-final and grand finale will be held on 31 March 2025, where the top teams will compete for the championship title.
A large number of railway employees gathered at the venue, cheering enthusiastically and adding to the energy and excitement of the event.
This tournament is a testament to Central Railway’s commitment to fostering a healthy work-life balance and encouraging sports activities among employees. With thrilling matches ahead, the tournament promises to be an exhilarating showcase of talent and sportsmanship.
