D N Narasimha Raju has taken oath as Karnataka Chief Information Commissioner (CIC).
Narasimha Raju, a 1984 batch IAS officer, had retired in April. He had served in the chief minister’s office and at various departments like finance, company affairs, commerce and industry, petroleum and natural gas at the Centre.
Raju was administered the Oath of Office by the Karnataka Governor, Vajubhai Vala, at Banquet Hall, Rajbhavan in Bengaluru.
