Kerala becomes the first State in the country to introduce E-health project in Government health sector.
The initiative helps process data in the health care system and administration of hospitals through which the public could access information about various health schemes, details of hospitals, and treatment facilities, besides seeking online appointments.
Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan launched the project in Thiruvananthapuram on 26 January 2017.
Seven out of 14 districts will be covered in the first phase of the Centrally-aided project undertaken at a cost of Rs.92.12 crores.
