Dr Kulwant Singh Ded was appointed founder vice chancellor of the new declared Sri Guru Ram Das University of Health Sciences (SGPC) at Amritsar.
A Cath lab was also inaugurated. Cath lab has been started to provide subsidized angiography, angioplasty and pacemaker to heart patients.
