Goa, 12 August 2024
Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Government of India, will hold a one-day regional training on 21st Livestock Census, software and regional specific breeds for the state and district nodal officers of Goa and Kerala, at Hotel Fidalgo, Panaji, on Tuesday, August 13, 2024.
Prof S P Singh Baghel, Minister of State for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Government of India, and Shri Nilkanth Halarnkar, Minister of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services, Government of Goa will address the gathering.
Smt Alka Upadhyaya IAS, Secretary, Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Government of India; Shri Arun Kumar Mishra IAS, Secretary, Environment, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services, Government of Goa; and other higher officers will also address the gathering as part of the training session.
The workshop will have discussions on the 21st Livestock Census schedule, presentations on breeds specific to Goa and Kerala, discussions on user credentials, enumerators and supervisors, and training on mobile application and dashboard.
