NTPC WR-I HQs Hosted Regional Communication Meet to Strengthen Internal Dialogue

NTPC Western Region-I Headquarters organised the Regional Communication Meet (RCM) for WR-I Projects and Stations at its Mumbai Headquarters today. The meeting, chaired by Regional Executive Director (West-I), Shri Kamlesh Soni, brought together Heads of Projects (HOPs), Regional Heads of Departments (HODs), Regional HOHR, HOHRs, and representatives from Unions and Associations of WR-I Projects and Stations.

In his keynote address, Shri Soni emphasized the critical importance of addressing employee concerns in a time-bound and transparent manner. He reiterated NTPC’s focus on fostering effective internal communication to strengthen organizational synergy. “RCMs are vital platforms that enable management and employees to engage in meaningful dialogue, share perspectives, and address mutual concerns. These forums help align efforts towards NTPC’s vision, while also offering an avenue to seek constructive feedback from employee representatives,” Shri Soni remarked. He urged both management and unions to ensure prompt and effective communication of decisions to the larger workforce, facilitating an environment of collaboration and trust.

In her address RHOHR, WR-I HQs, Smt. Vandana Chaturvedi underscored the importance of Regional Communication Meetings in fostering a performance-oriented and people-centric culture. “An effective communication system is the foundation of an organization’s success and growth,” she said, highlighting the collaborative ethos of NTPC.

The meet included detailed discussions on a range of issues of mutual concern and interest, focusing on employee welfare and organizational objectives. Constructive deliberations during the session further demonstrated NTPC’s commitment to ensuring inclusivity and transparency in its operations.
