Post-Matric Scholarship scheme is a Centrally Sponsored Scheme for SC students which is implemented through State Governments. As reported by the State Government of Karnataka, 3,17,000 students have been covered under the scheme for FY2020-21.
As has been informed by the State, advertisement regarding inviting applications for PMS-SC is given in the widely circulated newspapers across the State every year. Furthermore, Taluk level officers give publicity in local newspapers as well as notification is also circulated to all the institutions in the Taluks and the same is displayed in the college Notice Board so as to cover more and more SC students for this scholarship.
