Q1 2017 Knight Frank Prime Global Cities Index was released recently. The index tracks the movement of luxury residential property prices across 41 cities.
Mumbai ranked 24th among 41 cities globally with 1.1 per cent price rise in luxury homes for the year ended March 2017.
Delhi (ranked 35) and Bengaluru (ranked 29) were the two other Indian cities that figured in the global list.
Chinese cities of Guangzhou, Beijing and Shanghai topped the index with an average price growth of 26.3 per cent.
