Prime Minister Narendra Modi to interact with students, teachers and parents during the 5th edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha on 1st April, 2022


 

Mumbai, March 30, 2022

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi will be interacting with the students, teachers and parents all over the world during the 5th edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha on 1st April, 2022. As part of the programme, Prime Minister Shri Modi will interact with school students of classes 9 to 12, their parents and teachers in a town-hall interactive format at Talkatora Stadium, New Delhi from 11 AM onwards, on April 1, 2022.

Press Information Bureau, Western Region today organised a virtual press briefing with an aim to make the Pariksha Pe Charcha program a mass movement. Addressing the media persons, Smt. Smita Vats Sharma, Additional Director General, PIB Mumbai said the initiative Pariksha Pe Charcha aims to create a stress-free exam atmosphere for our youngsters. She requested the media to help in reaching out to maximum number of students, parents and teachers.

The fifth edition of the programme assumes special significance in the wake of the country coming out of the COVID-19 pandemic and exams shifting back to offline mode. The students, teachers and parents who will get to ask questions to the Prime Minister, have been short-listed on the basis of an online creative writingcompetition on a bouquet of themes. The competitionwas organized from 28th December 2021 till 3rd February, 2022 through MyGov platform.

15.7 lakh participants had registered in the Pariksha Pe Charcha Creative Writing Competition this year, comprising more than 12.1 lakh students, 2.7 lakh teachers and more than 90 thousand parents. Over 47 thousand students, 14 thousand teachers and 5 thousand parents participated from Maharashtra in the creative writing competition.

The online competition was held on the following themes:

Themes for Students:

  1. Exam stress management strategies during COVID-19
  2. Azadi Ka Amrit Mahostav
  3. Self-reliant School for Self-reliant India
  4. Clean India, Green India
  5. Digital Collaboration in Classrooms
  6. Environmental conservation and climate change resilience

Themes for Teachers:

  1. National Education Policy (NEP) for Naya Bharat
  2. The COVID-19 Pandemic: opportunities & challenges

Themes for Parents:

  1. Beti Padhao, Desh Badhao
  2. Local to Global – Vocal for Local

 

In all, 2,050 participants have been selected through the various competitions. They will be presented with a certificate of appreciation and a special Pariksha Pe Charcha kit comprising Exam Warriors book written by the Prime Minister.

The Fifth Edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha will be telecast live on Doordarshan (DD National, DD News, DD India), radio channels, TV channels, digital media channels including YouTube channels of various ministries..

Pariksha Pe Charcha is part of the larger movement – ‘Exam Warriors’ – led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, to create a stress-free atmosphere for youngsters. It is a movement that is driven by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s efforts to bring together students, parents, teachers and the society to foster an environment where the unique individuality of each child is celebrated, encouraged and allowed to express itself fully.
