The Office of the Additional Director, CGHS Nagpur, has organized a series of health camps under the “Swasthya Nari – Sashakt Parivar” campaign.
Launched by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on 17 September 2025, the campaign is being observed nationwide till 2 October 2025 through health camps and awareness programmes aimed at promoting women’s health, strengthening families, and ensuring wider access to preventive and primary healthcare.
In Nagpur, CGHS has organized health camps focusing on anaemia screening, physical consultations, and general health services, along with a special awareness programme on balanced diet.
From 18 to 27 September 2025, activities included anaemia, cancer and gynecology screening, yoga and Ayurveda sessions, multi-specialty consultations in orthopedics, pulmonology, ophthalmology, dentistry and homeopathy, as well as blood donation, maternal and child health care, and outreach programmes in schools and community centres.
The initiative has seen enthusiastic participation from doctors, consultants, students, and the community at large, underlining the importance of women’s health as the foundation of a strong and healthy family. The campaign will continue till 2 October 2025, with further health camps and awareness drives being organized by CGHS Nagpur.
