The National Science Centre organizes Innovation Festival with the aims to foster a passion and aptitude for science and technology and to provide a unique platform to Innovative and creative Innovators.

The National Science Centre, Delhi organized the inaugural ceremony of the Innovation Festival today in New Delhi.

 

 

Realizing the importance of Innovation and the impact of experimentation and scientific method in shaping logical thinking among our community, the National Science Centre, Delhi is organizing  Innovation Festival on March, 25th and 26th, 2023. It aimed to foster a passion and aptitude for science and technology and to provide a unique platform to Innovative and creative Innovators.

 

The festival was inaugurated by Prof. Balram Bhargava (Chief Guest) President, NASI, Former Secretary, Department of Health Research, Govt. of India. Ex. DG, ICMR, New Delhi today.  Dr. Prasun Roy, Head, Centre for Fire, Explosive and Environment Safety, DRDO, Delhi gave a lecture  on Topic- “Polymer coating for blast and ballistic mitigation” at the inaugural ceremony.

The  Valediction Ceremony will be  Chaired by Dr. Debasis Mohanty, Director, National Institute of Immunology, New Delhi 26th March, 2023 at 4.00 PM.

 

The Innovation Festival comprised of Innovation Fair, Creative Robo Design, Innovative Challenges for families, Family Science Quiz, Popular Science lecture, Workshop on Intellectual Property Right and Idea Contest.

Innovation Festival is  open ended, encouraging and generous in Spirit. It is  about participation of the public and  for all age groups. It  showcase and celebrate  Invention, creativity and resourcefulness.

 

 

It also provides an  opportunity to interact with makers from different technological world and  supports discovery and exploration while introducing new tools for advance design. Its other objectives include  fostering creativity in people and to make them agent of change in their personal life and in their community. During the festival, several contests will be  organized for students and general visitors on prior registration basis.

The festival provides  people an opportunity to showcase their innovative work and products made by them in the past. It’s a platform for Innovators to show their creative work and interact with others from various fields. It is  interactive, with plenty of opportunities for hands on activities or Do it yourself for adults as well as kids.
