CR Sasikumar has taken over as Managing Director of State Bank of Travancore (SBT), one of the associate banks of State Bank of India (SBI).
Sasikumar started his career as a probationary officer with SBI in 1978 and has since held several key assignments.
Prior to the present posting in SBT, he was Deputy Managing Director, Inspection & Management Audit, at SBI Corporate Centre in Hyderabad.
Assuming charge as SBT Managing Director, he said his immediate priority would be the management of non-performing assets (NPAs) and achieving a growth of ₹12,000 crore in advances and ₹16,000 crore in deposits, which the bank has set as its policy objective for 2016-17.
