Union Public Service Commission on 27 July 2017 has declared the result of Civil Services Preliminary Exam 2017. This IAS Prelims 2017 exam was held on 18th June this year. This is one of the toughest examinations in India that is conducted on all-India level. Around 4-5 lakh candidates have appeared in it and roughly 13000 (Approx.) have cleared it.

Now candidates those who have qualified for IAS Prelims 2017 will have to appear in IAS Mains Exam. Again there is tough competition in it. Student have to write their answers in best possible way to score more marks in it.
Good Marks are given to those answers whose answers are written exactly according to the need and requirement of the question. Many students in a hurry fails to understand the questions asked…. and thereby write the stuff that actually is not required or asked. Therefore, understanding the question in IAS MAINS Papers in very essential.
Candidates should be well aware of the current happenings in news as most of the questions asked are current affairs oriented. Catching introduction and sober conclusion in every answer will get you fetch more marks. Moreover, there should a some depictions, diagrams, pictures (drawn by pencil/pen) in answers that will get extra advantage in scoring more marks.
Speed is the most important here. Most of the candidates complain about lengthy paper thus they are not able complete all answers.
