The Vice President, Shri M Venkaiah Naidu has greeted the people of the nation on the occasion of Ram Navami.
Following is the full text of the message –
I convey my warm greetings and good wishes to the people of our country on the auspicious occasion of ‘Ram Navami’, celebrated as the birthday of Lord Rama.
In the Indian tradition, Lord Rama personifies the virtues of righteousness, courage and compassion. His life is synonymous with the principles of truth, justice, respect for elders and love for all human beings. The ‘Maryada Purushottama’ is revered as an ideal king, an obedient son, an affectionate brother and a role model in the truest sense. Lord Rama’s life continues to inspire us to uphold his noble ideals and high moral values.
May this Ram Navami bring peace and happiness in our lives and illuminate our path with the eternal values espoused by Lord Rama.

“राम नवमी” के शुभ अवसर पर मैं, सभी देशवासियों को हार्दिक बधाई और शुभकामनाएं देता हूँ।
भारतीय परम्परा के अनुसार भगवान श्रीराम नेकी, साहस और करुणा की प्रतिमूर्ति हैं। उनका जीवन सत्य, न्याय, बड़ों के लिए सम्मान और समस्त मानव जाति के लिए प्रेम का पर्याय है। “मर्यादा पुरुषोत्तम ” भगवान श्रीराम एक आदर्श राजा, एक आज्ञाकारी पुत्र, एक स्नेहमय भाई और सही मायनों में एक प्रेरणास्रोत के रूप में श्रद्धेय हैं। भगवान श्रीराम का जीवन उनके उदात्त विचारों तथा उच्च नैतिक मूल्यों को बनाए रखने हेतु हमें प्रेरित करता है।
मेरी कामना है कि राम नवमी का यह पर्व हमारे जीवन में शांति और खुशहाली लाए और भगवान श्रीराम द्वारा अपनाए गए शाश्वत मूल्यों से हमारा मार्गदर्शन करे।
