The event was conducted from 13 to 20 November 2022 at the Indian Naval Watermanship Training Centre (INWTC) Mumbai under the aegis of the YAI and Indian Navy Sailing Association (INSA), for senior Asian Games classes of boats. These classes included iQFoil (men and women foiling windsurf), NACRA 17 (mix foiling catamaran), ILCA 7 (men single-handed dinghy), ILCA 6 (women single-handed dinghy), 470 (mix), 49er (men skiff), 49erFX (women skiff) and RS:X (men and women).
