Ashish Shelar has been elected president of the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) following the resignation of Sharad Pawar.
Pawar (76) has completed a cumulative period of nine years as cricket administrator at the MCA. He was also the BCCI president for one term.
Shelar was elected MCA vice-president in 2015.
The other vice-president, Dilip Vengsarkar, has also completed nine years and resigned from the post.
The two vice-president vacancies have been filled up by the election of Vinod Deshpande and Pankaj Thakur.
