The President of India, Pranab Mukherjee received the first copy of book ‘Garuda Purana’ (Critical Edition) published by All India Kashiraj Trust on June 19, 2017.
He appreciated the efforts made by Dr. Anant Narain Singh and All India Kashiraj Trust (which was inaugurated by the first President, Dr. Rajendra Prasad) to preserve and propagate our ancient texts.
President said that our legacy and heritage of knowledge in the shape of Puranas is extraordinarily rich. Over ages, these texts have shaped our socio-cultural conduct, values and intellectual outlook.
