Actor Shahrukh Khan will receive an honorary doctorate at the sixth convocation of Maulana Azad National Urdu University in Hyderabad.
President Pranab Mukherjee will confer the degree on him.
Shahrukh Khan and Sanjiv Saraf, the founder of Rekhta Foundation, will be given honorary doctorates for their extraordinary contribution in the promotion of Urdu language and culture.
