Maharashtra Government decided to demerge Ratnagiri Gas and Power Pvt Ltd (RGPPL) into two independent companies – electricity generation centre and Regassified Liquefied Natural Gas (RLNG) terminal.
The RGPPL is shut since November 2013 due to unavailability of gas.
The Maharashtra Cabinet also approved the Court Infrastructure Policy. The policy will be helpful for construction of court buildings and residential quarters for judges as well as expansion and repairs of existing infrastructure.
