Pankaj Advani Wins World Championship

India’s most successful cueist Pankaj Advani has added another feather in his cap by winning the IBSF World Snooker Championship in Egypt.

Advani defeated his Chinese opponent Zhua Xintong 8-6 in the final at Sunrise Crystal Bay resort in Hurghada yesterday.

With this win, Advani took his world title count to 15. The victory came just after he clinched the IBSF Billiards crown in September.

Advani is also the first person in history to take the short and the long snooker format in the same calender year.
