40th edition of Soorya Festival has started in Thiruvananthpuram (Kerala).
Over 2000 artistes, including eminent singers and dancers from all parts of the country and abroad are parcipating in it.
Organised with the support of Directorate of Film Festivals in New Delhi, the film festival will have a slice of regional movies including Tamil, Kannada, Bodo, Bengali and Marathi besides Malayalam films.
A non-profit, non-commercial voluntary organization, ‘Soorya’, functioning with its headquarters at Thiruvananthpuram, has its chapters in 36 countries.
