The US Agency for International Development (USAID) has launched a new initiative — ‘Catalyst: Inclusive Cashless Payment Partnership’.
It is designed to scale up digital payments systems in India which will act as a catalyst in the increase of cashless payments in select locations.
The initiative marks the next phase of partnership between USAID and the Union Ministry of Finance to help catalyse the rapid adoption of digital payments in India.
USA also announced decision to increase the number of visa appointments till December.
