Vetri Subramaniam has joined the UTI Mutual Fund in the position of group president & head of equity.
In his new position, Subramaniam will be in-charge of fund management of the equity schemes of UTI aggregating to about Rs 38,000 crore.
He will be joining UTI in February, 2017 as a replacement for Anoop Bhaskar who had quit the fund house in December last year.
An MBA from IIM Bangalore, Subramaniam has an experience of two decades in the fund management space.
