The Rajasthan and Odisha respective assemblies ratified the Goods and Services Tax (GST) Constitution (122nd) Amendment Bill 2016.
The Goods and Services Tax (GST), the biggest reform in India’s indirect tax structure since the economy began to be opened up 25 years ago, at last looks set to become reality.
With more than half of the State Assemblies ratified it, this bill will be soon presented to President for his assent.
